Chianti Classico is the wine that best expresses the territory in which we are located, the result of a centuries-old tradition of which we are proud. Our work in the vineyards and careful selection result in softer, easier-drinking wines that better suit current consumer tastes. The blend in 2018 could not be more traditional, mainly Sangiovese with a small percentage of the native Canaiolo variety, which gives it the perfect fresh note. Organic certified.

After the difficult 2017 vintage and the balanced 2018 vintage, 2019 was certainly a step forward, even if the climate was very similar to that of 2018. A hot summer cooled by storms led to a perfect ripening period, alternating mild days and cool nights. These are the little extra details that characterize a great vintage. The wines are powerful and extroverted, but balanced at the same time, with intensity and concentration contrasting with balance and fresh acidity, crisp fruitiness and soft, silky tannins. An exceptional vintage and wines that invite you to drink.

Unlike the very difficult 2017, 2018 was a balanced year with rains at the right time and ideal climatic conditions. The summer was warm but still characterized by cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen gradually and complexly.
Die Arbeit, die wir jedes Jahr im Weinberg geleistet haben, begann sich wirklich auszuzahlen: Die Tannine wurden immer weicher und seidiger. Dies ist vielleicht das erste Jahr, in dem unser Sangiovese wirklich den Charakter zeigt, den wir immer gesucht haben: fruchtbetonte Weine, sanft, kraftvoll, aromatisch, salzig.
The Cabernet also impressed with its intense fruit aromas, while tannins left a light and gentle note.
